Melo is right but Lin wouldn't be first ridiculous NBA contract.

It's not his place to call a teammate's contract ridiculous especially when melo shouldn't be a max player

I don't think there is anything ridiculous about the contract. If the Knicks didn't overspend on every player they would have the ability to hold onto potential superstars. At the max, Lin will make 9.2 million his 3rd year, with the cap hit at 14.9. That same year Anthony will be making 23.5 million. Is Carmello worth 8+ more than Lin? Maybe, but Lin's impact goes well beyond the court.. LINK / ..

Taken out of context. The way he said it can be positive.

he is right...doesn't need to say a damn thing though. Saying that about a teammate's contract, whether he's right or not, is what's "ridiculous"

Melo was right and I totally agree but...

This. From the Knicks. In unrelated news, Anthony has $67 million left over three years on his contract. The Knicks have yet to advance past the first round.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

Now that was funny!

I didn't read it as him calling out Lin or his ability or anything of that nature, just the contract. Probably shouldn't have said anything, but he is right.

Not a smart comment by Melo. Alienates teammates. And like the article said this is coming from someone set to make 67 mill over the next 3 years and his team has yet to make it past the first round.
