Has anyone compared him to Kelvin Sheppard yet? Looks very similar.

Brandon Spikes is good comparison...he does not have KeKe Mingo's speed, but within the 1st 15-20 yards...WOW! What class is his high school?

Prom, I think you're just misunderstand. I personally never take your posts as overly negative. I see them as realistic and cautious for the most part. I like the fact that you don't sunshine pump. Recruiting is a cautionary business and should be considered that by all of us.

the play at 1:04 where the RB tries to bounce outside looks like some 2006 pre-injury Darry Beckwith against Arizona

happyto have this kid. I'm just cautious. Alot of you guys that follow recruiting should know how this works by now.

But I am sticking with the fact that this 2014 class may very well be the best we've ever seen. There's more names out there that we haven't even heard yet. The only names were hearing at this point are kids that are top 50. I think that says alot.

Hey Prom, I know what you mean bruh. But hearing from DD's site this morning about how it all unfolded made me have more confidence in his commitment vs most especially OOS early commits. Said his parents came along with him and it was kind of like a family decision.

he looks 235 at least. is he just going to not get taller or bigger over the next 2 years?

he seems really tall and thick for a chavis LB

I'm just being cautious. After the crap Collins pulled last year, you have to take what these kids say with a grain of salt.

I've been following recruiting for a while mow and pretty much every single article I read are the same. Just like coach speak...these kids know what to say to the recruiting sites now.

Look, I love love the fact LSU landed the kid. I just believe it's not over, that's all.

It's funny because I'm labelled a sunshine pumper on the Rant and Debbie Downer on this board. I guess that's a good mixture. trying to keep it level headed.

Prom I think you are right on the money when you mentioned the relationships he built with some of the other Tiger committs will prove to be very important. I think other schools will persue this kid hard and we will need that bond to help keep him focused on LSU. Lets be honest non of us can imagine what it must be like for schools to recruit you like they recruit these 5 stars players. It would be like having a girlfriend and every fine chick you saw begging you to just give them a chance. At the age of 16-18 that is a lot of temptation.

On another note his film is sick!!! I can't believe that is a Sophmore. He looks like the leader of the D and plays with tons of confidence. His football IQ must be off the charts. I still can't believe he is only a Sophmore. He is going to be really really good.

Recent LSU 2014 LB commit Kain Daub still plans to attend Florida's Friday Night Lights.

Good for him. I hope he has a great time, and improves as a player.
