A little worried with our class filling up so quickly

With Tim Williams, Ricky Jeff,Kendell Beck, etc all having "reserved" spots in this class.
Every football season there is always one player who bursts onto the scene.
For example, IMO last year it was debo jones. The year before Micah Eugene. Anybody else think we might miss on the "it" player this next coming fall

Yea I can see it happening but then I'll look at the players already committed and know LSU has one hell of a class. Just hope that player goes somewhere outside of the SEC

The only "locks" we have left IMO are Williams and Gilmore.
So that leaves 4 spots for...
Goodman
Robinson or Willis
Pagano
RSJ
Beckwith
Prevot
Jefferson
IMO, I don't think we land Pagano, RSJ, Beckwith...I am counting them out. That leaves 4 guys for 4 spots (Goodman, Willis/Robinson, Prevot, JEfferson), and we'll likely miss on 1 maybe 2 of those IMO. We'll have at least 1 maybe 2 new names in this class before it's all said and done.
So that leaves 4 spots for...
Goodman
Robinson or Willis
Pagano
RSJ
Beckwith
Prevot
Jefferson

Yea, we better start telling these 4-stars to slow their roll, because we're gonna need to save a spot for an as-yet-unidentifed breakthrough player that may not even exist.

You make room, very rarely do we not have guys drop on signing day or dont qualify. It happened once the last 12 years.

My only worry, and that might even be a strong word, is not getting a surprise player at the end. And that's my own selfish "complaint". Doesn't really bother me.
IMO, we have quite a few "it" players already. Just keep up the good work. :fearthehat:

Worried about what? Have you seen this class? Think LSU is just going to land MAC type players if these guys don't end up at LSU?

Yes. If miles keeps reeling in so many good players, I'm worried he's going to scare away other good players. SLOW DOWN MILES! Stop taking so many good players. You're making my son, er, everyone else look bad!

in past years, when TEX had 22 commits right after Easter, guys were whining that Tex was 'ahead' of LSU.
every factor can be used as a positive. Look at what USCw is doing with their punishment. they are spooking #1 recruits into commits, since they are going to be short 10 spots.
so look at the bright side, just this once. if there are only 3 spots left deep in the fall, and we have 4 FIVE star guys begging for LSU slots, maybe LSU only ends up with 2 of them after the shuffle. sounds ok to me.

MY MOMMA thinks like that Shes a worry wart,I want the best appearing class because it helps recruiting and knocks down some of the negative talk, but haveing them to play like the best is our real goal!
