this team would not beat 92 but no way in hell 92 would crush them like peej and nonetheless think

One big factor is if they are playing with the rules of now or 80's/90's

It has been said already, but I'm not sure more than 2 off this year's squad would even make the 92 team...Kobe and James

I don't necessarily think they would crush the '12 team. That is going overboard. I think in a 7 game series, the '92 team would win in 5 or 6.

Durant would make that 92 team.

The 92 team would look completely different if it was playing today's international game anyway. Just like if you were building a team of current players to play the 92 team it would look a good bit different from the 12 Olympic team.

if you are dumb enough to say that the 92 team would destroy the 2012 team it really shows you lack any sports knowledge.

The 92 team wins pretty easily. It was a different mindset back then. Those frickers were competitive to a degree todays players dont have.

There was no pre and post game humping back then it seemed. It was hard at first for that 92 team to even practice together. Todays NBA is softer mentally and physically imo. 92 team would beat them up.

1992 and 2012 are built completely differently, its just a silly discussion. You'd have to completely overhaul the roster of 2012 to deal with Robinson/Ewing/Malone/Barkley up front. No chance Chandler doesn't foul out, and he'd have to be on the court the whole game. Regardless of any talent differences, the 1992 team is built like an NBA team, and the 2012 is built for the new international game.

Wow, an intelligent post regarding this topic. Probably the first and last

Howard is overrated in comparison to other big men in NBA history IMO.

if they get to play by 80's/90's rules they push todays team around if its by nows rules it would be closer
