I don't get why these studios frick these things up so bad. I mean look at Dragonball and Avatar.
How can you take something with such good source material, somewhat relatable characters, and an abundance of great stories within stories and fail so miserably at creating a coherent story with compelling characters in a movie?

What are the chances they make a true to original live action. Someone on YouTube made an amazing one. Imagine if a movie studio put forth some kind of effort.
Seems they'd jump on it with the current super hero craze.

Evolution only had a $30 million budget. A proper DBZ movie needs something MUCH higher.

So, I'm planning on going to Madison Mississippi to watch Battle of Gods in theater. It's about 2 hours from me.

Awesome. I'm trying to find what theaters it will be showing in. Is that one going to be the closest to Louisiana?
ETA: NVM. I found it. Apparently that is the closest to me, and it's almost a 3 hour drive. Bummer that it isn't showing in Louisiana at all.

I was pissed when I saw no showings in La, then I saw it was showing in Madison. Wish it was closer, but it's not too bad. Can't wait to see DBZ on the big screen!
