These owners are in the business of making money. Period. There's no this argument or that argument. The player will bring in more money than you're paying him, it's a good deal.

He is a better mid range to 3 point range shooter than guys like Josh Smith, Ray Allen, Carmelo, Wade, Amare, Danilo, Pierce, Deng, and Ryan Anderson, at least this past season. Check the numbers.
Does it really matter if he gets his two points from a dunk or from a 20 foot jumper? Two points is two points. Range is great, but at a certain point, you have diminished returns from shooting outside.
