Dairy Queen on Sherwood Forest

I'd seen an article back in April saying they were opening up a new Dairy Queen on Sherwood @ Southfork in July. Does anyone know when it's actually going to open or has seen any progress on it?

Passed there yesterday. It looks like they are just clearing the land currently.

The DQ in Central is terrible, and so are others I have eaten at.

Who eats at a DQ? I mean its ok to order the occasional basket meal but this isnt the reason many people miss the place.

Uncle O's should be getting close in the old Brewbachers building.
And as I've said before the only good Dairy Queens are the old ones in little towns with fifty year old flat tops. Those are good burgers.

ever since i can remember i have enjoyed DQ. ive driven out to false river just for DQ and stop every trip to and from the destin

I agree 100%. I cried when they closed the one in Breaux Bridge. I used to go to that one on the way back from Lafayette all the time.
