Assuming Gordon comes back.. What are next steps we need to take in order to be competing on a yearly basis for a top 3 seed in the west? Sign McGee and let our young talent develop? Lure a max free agent next year? Keep this core and build through the draft? Interested to see you guys responses..

Wait for our young players to mature.
Add solid role players to fill holes in the roster.
Draft well

Keep Gordon happy and healthy.

Wait for Davis (and hopefully Rivers) to develop a year.

I think at that point we're only a stud 1 or 3 away from being a top 3 team in the West.

I don't think we need a stud 5 as the league is changing and Davis will be Garnet/Duncan (they've never needed stud 5's next to them).

CP3, Gay, somebody of that ilk should be enough to get us into the top half of the West by 2013/2014.

Demps is building this team similar to the Spurs. Solid/Cornerstone big man, talented scoring guards, and now we just need some roles players (step 1, Anderson, complete).

Mainly let our young talent to mature. Possibly sign a solid FA a couple of years down the road.
