Anyone know of any grants or assistance programs for someone looking to start a farm in Texas? Any help is appreciated.

Commodity prices are through the roof right now. To say that decent farmland is hard to come by/priced extremely high would be the understatement of the year. Good luck.

ETA:
Sorry. To answer your question, I don't know of any programs.

Thanks for the replies. Just always had this crazy dream of farming. Takes a lot of money to get one started though. Maybe one of the oter's can bankroll me.

I had the choice. Pour a frickton of money (even though I have more than enough) into a farm or continue to throw money at all the porn actresses and OT 10's I'm nailing.

You know the rest.

But to answer your question, just find a wealthy farmer in his mid-50's with no sons and butt ugly daughters. Impregnate one. Profit.
