So who's excited about Arsenal having to give us the Guard of Honor at the Emirates? Can't wait to hear the fans reaction towards RvP while he struts out.

Totally didn't think of this. Their fans are going to be livid. Might be worth watching just to see RVP walk through.

I like that new crest. Probably because it doesn't have yellow in it.

Also rumored new crest

Eh....

I like that they went back to red around the outside, but hasn't the crest always been a rough diamond shape? Changing to a circle takes away from the history of it a bit. Although its not a bad crest in and of itself, just moves away from its historical border look.

EDIT: I guess "diamond" technically wasn't what i meant. I just feel like the new one is much more round than the old ones were.

I don't hate the new one but I'm with BPG as far as history is concerned. I like the old crest, don't really think its that outdated.

I don't know how often, but the crest has been changed in the past. Prior to the current crest it read "manchester united" across the top and "football club" along the bottom.

See, the top one was in the 1960s. The bottom one came a decade or so later.

No yellow on the top one. Hopefully we're going back to our roots. A lot of United's promotional stuff now has that red, black and white crest (or the black and white crest from the road kit this season), so maybe this will come to pass.

FWIW that rumored crest is completely made up.

Some dude started a thread on Reddit about it. He apparently made that crest for a random competition last season and it's being thrown about as the new United crest.

Excited to see this: Sir Alex has given talented 18-year-old midfielder Adnan Januzaj the number 44 for the rest of the season...he said in his presser that he wants to play some of the younger guys towards the end of the season.

I've heard that he's been standing out in training this season. He was a great prospect out of Anderlecht. Would love to see him get some time in a league match.

Did his parents just bang their forehead on a keyboard when deciding on a name? Damn.

He's from Belgium, the same country that brought us Radja Nainggolan and Nacer Chadli.
