Probably Germans, but that is a bold statement. Actually, an idiotic statement IMO. Anyone buy into that crap? No team's starting 22 is by far better than LSU or Bama. Thoughts?

That's very possible. But what about specialists? And what about depth? They have a lot of guys they took in their last few classes that are nothing more than warm practice bodies. They don't have a lot of depth.

Maybe not "by far", but it isn't idiotic to argue they might be the best. It's the depth behind those starting 22 that is USC's biggest problem imo.

They don't have much of a coach either.

Maybe.

But when you've got good lines, a a solid defense AND a polished QB and receivers. Then you've got something.

This is the year we all get our wish. LSU/USC-January 7, 2013 in Miami.

Their problem is depth. It could be argued they have the best starters in the country. The only problem is going through an entire season without injuries, which is bound to happen...

Due to limitations on scholarships, they don't have the depth like LSU/Bama...

I feel pretty strongly about this. USC will not get beat during the regular season.
I guess it is a matter of deciding if they will fact LSU or Bama.

Easy statement to say, but they play in a weak division, so you can get away with saying stupid things, like this...Palmer.

Not even close to possible. I would put up LSU's 2nd string against USC's starters and still expect a win.

Man I sure enjoyed the few years when we didn't have to hear people suck off USC constantly... Oh well. Nothing lasts forever.

Then you have an unreasonable view of both football teams.

USC will choke. I won't be surprised if Oregon is the team in Miami come January.

Kiffin has done a pretty good job at USC considering the situation he walked into
