Saw The Amazing Spider Man in IMAX 3D last night and it was much better than I expected. I normally don't care for movies in 3D or reboots but this film surprised me on both counts. The 3D was very good and did a good job of incorporating the scene environments as well as some action scenes without being too overbearing.
The acting was much better in this film than all of the previous installments. I enjoyed the fact that it was a more accurate representation of the actual Spider Man in the comics. The plot had substance but wasn't overly complex and all of the characters were solid. I would give it a 4 star rating. Great popcorn flick.

A group of us went and we all enjoyed it. There is an additional scene after the credits if you want to see it.

He was much better than Toby Mcguire. I also thought Garfield made a great Peter Parker. Emma Stone was pretty good in her role also.

Saw here are some key negatives

1. The film portrays PP to be a lazy and bored student when truthfully he is a nerd and most likely would be sitting in the front of class.

2. Spiderman assaults police officers at one point in the movie and to me that would never happen.

3. The scenes of uncle ben's death and the spider bite semmed rushed when those are main points of SM history. Plus, Im supposed to believe that no other person walked through a room of spiders and possibly was bitten when knocking something over, seemed as though someone didnt put much thought into that part of the story.

4. The main thing I did like was Emma Stone. She did a great job.

PP was apathetic and anti social. Just because he's smart doesn't mean he's the teacher's pet.

Yea the did seem to kind of downplay the fact that he is supposed to be basically a scientific genius. There will always be some holes in the plot and inconsistencies but overall it was a good movie and much better than the original in my opinion.
