I'm legitimately concerned about how terrible we will be without Bale. He needs to stay. He's just too good.

We very well could be mid-tier if he leaves. But, him leaving should give us a pretty nice transfer fee. It will all depend on how that money is spent. Going after a striker should be top priority this offseason.

I'm hoping Totts makes the CL and they get to keep him.

Doesn't that statement automatically revoke your Arsenal card?

I don't give a shite if it does. I would prefer that Arsenal and Tottenham both finish in CL spots. I'd liked to see Dempsey play in the CL and I really enjoy watching Bale in the EPL. I don't watch La Liga.

I don't mean this as an insult in any way. I'm dead serious about that. But do you consider yourself and Arsenal fan? How could any Arsenal fan wish the Yids to 4th? Again, I promise I'm not trying to insult you, I just want to know why you don't have a problem with your clubs most hated and biggest rival getting champion's league football.

No offense taken, and I understand the questions.

TL;DR:
I hate Chelsea much more than Tottenham.

I'm an Arsenal fan but I'm also a fan of the beautiful game. I like a lot of Totts' players (Bale, Dempsey, Vertongen, Parker, Dembele, Friedel, Lloris) and for the most part can't say the same for Chelsea (Cole, Terry, and Hazard, etc... I do like Luiz and Mata though). I hate their owner and their shitty fan base. I've found Totts fans to be quite pleasant. Can't say the same for the Chelsea fans.

I have no real emotional attachment to Arsenal. I picked them because I played with Thierry Henry in FIFA 2007 and loved the French aspect to that team in general (manager, players, etc). But just because I picked this team as my favorite and root for them above all others doesn't mean that I suddenly have a robust hatred for our rivals. Maybe that makes me a bad fan? I'm not sure.

i can appreciate what you are saying. i'm a football fan first, i even like watching arsenal, though though i do have a dislike of some teams. i'm a fan of sportsmanship and friendliness through sport.

Beating Chelsea is the best guarantee of a top 4 spot, we are the masters of our own destiny. Now I believe this team has the talent and motivation to win. After the way they finished last season, i would be extremely frustrated to lose out on a champions league spot again.

We better look a more motivated side against Chelsea than we did against Southampton.

This is what I believe... Win and we are in CL, lose or draw and no CL

We need 3 wins. Anything else and we are fifth. And Bale is gone.
