Frank Wilson is on 104.5 ESPN right now. He said he may have to leave the call to accept an out of state commitment.

Yeah, I think you're right. If anyone, it's probably Neal.

The coaches think he can be a big time pass rusher

If the coaches want him then who are we to argue?

The kid has so much initial burst and brute strength. He also uses his hands extremely well. All three of those things are traits that NFL DE's have. The coaches see big potential and ability in Lewis Neal. He also has a stout build and a strong lower body.

If I didnt have Lewis Neal's name in this post a big football fan would think I was describing Dwight Freeny or Elvis Dumervil

I could see him getting to the 245-250 range. But his strength will make up for any lbs he is giving up

To a certain extent. But even if he is in the 240-250 range, that is what 90% of our DEs play at anyway. Also, a DE does not have to be 6'4-6'5 to wreak havoc in the backfield.

Lately i've been starting to come around on Neal over Prevot, or at least the fact that most likely it will be the case. Herron/Patterson/Neal/Williams would be a great DE haul.
