Prob could have worded that better... I think its where conventional wisdom thinks they are both destined to play...

Without a doubt that's where their future is IMO

Ryan McLaughlin appears to be the future RB... With Robinson maybe being cover or sold off..

What about Flanno?

Pretty amazing. 7001 posts and 350+ pages about one subject in less than a year. And there's not even that much in game discussion in this thread.

I believe this is the first year Wisdom has really played at RB

Yup, you are right. Rodgers thought Wisdom could fit into the RB role well and moved him to the flank. Here is an Echo article about it.

He (BR) said: “They were outstanding. When I came in, Andre Wisdom had been playing a lot at centre-half but he has the physical and technical capacity to play full-back."

The modern day full-back has a lot of the ball and he has got to have strength, pace and power. Andre has that."

Defensively I agree that Wisdom might be able to play that role going forward into his career but as of right now he adds nothing to the attack IMO and I also believe a modern day fullback is capable of doing just that, adding to the attack. He might be able to grow into this but as of right now he just isn't a starting fullback to me.

Agreed. LFC played well defensively in the majority of matches where he started, but it is obvious he has a lot of room to grow offensively. Whether he can get to the offensive level of a player like Glen Johnson or not is yet to be seen.

I dont think he has that in his game... Just doesnt seem dynamic enough. I think McLaughlin is the future here (by all accounts, I havent seen too much of him)... I agree that he is solid cover, especially defensively... although he got turned inside out by Mirallas (I think)... he's done a great job for being thrown in as a kid, in a new position, on the senior team...

Well I guess then what do you think about Robbo and his chances at LB moving forward?

Can you imagine though ... his, Wisdom, potential moving forward if that part of his game, offense, were to progress to a productive addition to the attack. I would easily say he would be our future RB hands down IMO.

Michael Owen officially hanging up his boots at the end of the year... In reality, due to injuries, he's been done for some time...

I dont hold the grudge most do, he is the reason I follow LFC... Natural Born World Shaker (to steal from Cool Hand Luke)

Cheers, MO

It's one thing IMO for someone like Torres to leave and go to Chelsea, he was ours and I'd almost say he was as close as he could be to being Red through & through, for someone not from there ... BUT in Owen's case he was Scouse, someone that came up through OUR system & started at 17 for us; what he did was betrayal on the highest level, so NO just NO.

If ever a person void of emotion ever existed, it's Michael Owen. No sense of loyalty whatsoever. Only in for himself.

I would put Michael Owen right behind Judas Iscariot and Benedict Arnold in traitorous deeds.
