Not saying any of you are wrong, because it hasn't been decided yet, but I'd say smart money bets on grass huntelaar re-signing at schalke. He's from a small Dutch town that's really close to gelsenkirchen and he's still involved w their youth soccer. Plus he's older and schalke is a huge club anyway. I don't know his wages, but I'd say they're ample.

We'll have more than enough wage room if we can get rid of the cancer that is Joe Cole.

@ksampsonwriter: From lips of Liverpool F.C Dutch Branch president Michael Kennedy just now, Huntelaar is a "done deal" for LFC.

Let this be true, I really think he can be a 20+ goal/year guy for us for the next 3 years... Will help bridge the gap between today and the youth movement...
I dunno, It all depends on the cash available...
I think Walcott is the obvious name and Natahn Redmond and Wilfired Zaha are cheaper young options...
I know its a long shot, but we continue to be linked with Christian Eriksen... he would cost in the 20mm range, but is the exact player FSG would seem to want to buy...
I guess we'll see, but I'm convinced they will give him $ to bring in 2-3 guys
I'd love Walcott, Eriksen and Huntelaar (sorry, had to include him)

I'd LOVE that, but I just don't see that happening in January - particularly Eriksen. I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple smaller names for depth, but I think getting rid of Cole and prolly Stewie have to be on the to do list also. With that said, I think I got a semi thinking about Eriksen, Sahin, Shelvey, Henderson, Allen, and Lucas in midfield in a few years. That's got the potential to be a sick rotation.
No doubt it's a long shot... But we did pull Suarez out of Ajax in January w/o CL football to offer...
Anyway, it'll be an interesting 2 months... I just hope we don't dick around in January and get our targets in early

I think this would be great and I would Love Eriksen he is a upcoming class talent for sure and a connection to Danny Agger...
Walcott is everything we need youth, speed & clinic
Not completely sold on huntelaar he is a little old for what we have been wanting to do and does he truly fit out style ( carrol esque?) personally I would love to have Steven Jovetic
Or make big move if we could Neymar ... Wait need to :fap: dreaming about him and Suarez together
Oh btw the TheZaba Sahin is on loan

Yeah, i'd take Jovetic over Huntelaar any day, younger and more versatile... I just think Huntelaar could do a good job for a couple of years, he's scored everywhere he's been...
Neymar is only going to go to a handful of clubs and we aren't one... Price tag aside, his wage demands will be astronomical...

If we had the money I would love to have any of the three: Mario Götze, Mats Hummels, or Marco Reus. Preferably Götze & Hummels but given the state of our final third Reus would be a welcomed addition ... oh almost forgot Robert Lewandowski would be great too!
I guess I said this to say I love watching Borussia Dortmund - Great young talent that playing an agressive attacking football. Jürgen Klopp really has that team playing well

Ive seen some saying AC may sell Pato... with the emergence of El Sharaawy and their desire to fund a move for Balotelli...
Hypothetical... would you buy if given the funds?
High risk/reward proposition... I think he has all the tools to be one of the best strikers in the world, but he's hurt all the time (muscular)...
Ive read that a lot of that is that he is growing into his body
**yes, I'm bored
