No, you didn't. The people who paid for, and produced this abomination of a series, think that, to some extent. They actually think that, there's no difference, people are people, frick culture and history, a video will do it.

Anyway, I want to say, are there many flights with regularity from Atlanta to New Orleans, better yet, Baton Rouge, I want to spend some time with y'all, while I'm here. I would love meeting y'all in person. It would be great. Really great, as I love this board, and all of y'all ( I could even get along with Randy, I believe).

My problem obviously isn't with the demographics of the club. The show just feels...cheap. It's hard to explain really.

BTW the English are European, but they've got problems with the continent, just so you understand.

Sorry, I guess I'm just not following. I don't see how Americans in an American parade are portrayed as European.

It's a poorly done 'ra-ra' American business video.

Hmm I got the opposite impression. To each his own I guess.

There is absolutely nothing about a total lack of offense and constant losing that gets me "ra-ra."

Soccer board headquarters. Pretty sure we've met at least half of the board by now.

You would have thought Fox would have picked an elite club who could actually score goals and win

A similar show for City would be gold. Watching Mancini spank Balotelli bare-arse behind the scenes would be hysterical

At least. And that's not even exaggerating.

It is very well done, if you were to try to blend two different cultures upon a major corporate merger. It is 'cheap', when one takes into account that they are trying to evangelize. I get evangelation is similar, but it out to be smoother. Much. Maybe it needs more episodes, or less uncomfortable interjections of John Henry or whatever his name is, as clearly the players are like, WTF? Especially when he babbles (which he does).

I think they signed the contract after Kenny's first half season when everything was sunshine and ice cream and it seemed like we were finally back.

Being Liverpool

That show exists so I can have 10-15 more minutes of hilarity via Men In Blazers.

I did go back and watch the Monopoly scene...thrilling television.

The scenes with Brian Urlacher (AKA Charlie Adam) and John Henry made me cringe. Good god that was hard to watch.

You get that impression because you see Liverpool as irrelevant. Not everyone feels that way. Those English men that grew up watching the Reds skull drag all of Europe for 20 years find it incredibly interesting (I read EPL boards a good bit, and a lot of English people like the show).

When they described Jonjo and Brendan's romance scene blow by blow, I was in stitches.

What did you people expect, a Michael Bay movie? Its a documentary. Frontline episodes aren't listed under the "thriller" section in Blockbuster. You guys need to quit acting like it was supposed to be some great epic of movie making.

He's probably the only person on earth who could make the show worse.
