I was going to do a trip to Baltimore solo, but the wife and I are going on vacation the week prior. However, in the fall or spring of 2013-14, we will be taking a week long trip to England, and we will be attending a match at Anfield. This has been promised to me.

Just getting in on this early this year. I've lurked for the last two seasons. I have a close friend that is from England, has lived here for about 5 years now and is a big Spurs fan. Got me to watch the World Cup in 2010 and now I am hooked. I watched more and more soccer over that summer, was looking for a team to pull for and found myself immersed in a night of Youtube Istanbul videos, then Gerrard videos, then just Liverpool videos. Looked up, it was 4 am and a Liverpool fan was born.
Disclaimer: I have never played organized soccer, but I love to watch it and be a fan. Got my first home jersey last year, prolly going to get another one this year, the warrior's look sick.
Also, MLS has become my summertime fix. I don't know why, but I find myself rooting for the Timbers. I've never been to a top level soccer match but I plan to soon. As my friend Pete would say, I've finally embraced "proper footy". Cept he says it with this cool accent. Anyway, screw spurs for stealing gylfi. YNWA.
BTW, when I told my friend that I decided on Liverpool, he was like, yeah, I figured you would. Kinda weird he actually thought I would pick Liverpool before I even started looking. I need a cool Pool and timbers sig pic now.
