Is Lloris that much better than Schezny? Why are we wasting money on a spot that's pretty much solid.
We aren't French enough.

He is slightly better but Schezny is a proven number 1 and is still very young. I seriously doubt we are in it for Lloris. It would make absolutely no sense and for his price we could buy a quality cam or cdm. But then again its Arsenal and right now who knows what the higher ups are thinking?

Lloris to Arsenal?
This once-glorious-looking offseason has sure gone from sugar to shite in a hurry.
Why waste 12m when we already have one of the best young keepers in the world?
RVP is gone, we need help on the backline as well as a marquee striker and we're buying another frontline GOALKEEPER??
Arsenal is definitely like my other favorites, the Rams and the Cardinals. They can vex me quite often.

Worcestershire is replacing RVP up front, Lloris is taking his spot in goal.
Only reasonable conclusion I can come to.

Walcott looks to be on his way out too.

Good riddance. He is the one player I would like to see go although the timing will just cause more panic. We will probably get at least 20 mill for him quite possibly more as he is young and an English international. They are always overpriced. This is being to become a fiasco of epic proportions. Beginning to look like a destroy and rebuild project coming.

Idk. His contract ends next summer. I doubt a team would drop 20M on him when they could get him at 24 on a free in a year.

Shitty dropped 23 mill on Nasri last year and he was in the same situation.

why the hate?

And I bet they regret that. With FFP starting this year, they're reportedly trying to cut back on wages and are trying to sell some players. Plus, they don't really need a winger. Maybe Chelsea but I'd still be surprised they'd pay that much.

You all clearly haven't thought about this.
He's going to 'Pool... duh (English?)

I don't hate Theo, but wouldn't mind him leaving.
Lloris rumors started weeks ago, don't think there's any truth to them.
Lewandowski and Jovetic rumored as possible RvP replacements.

As a reminder guys..
The last season we had without RVP on the team... we went undefeated. I think we'll make it.

Yeah, that is frightening. Our squad right now simply isn't that good for that matter.

Oh I was just referring to the fact that Denilson is listed as negative 1...
<insert joke here about how much he adds to the squad>

Spot on and I do believe most Gooners feel this way.

If RvP was staying I'd want to keep him, because they have a good rapport. If only we could have signed Reus...
Posted on 7/6/12 at 1:36 pm to DB10_AFC
I wouldn't want him to leave. You don't ever win silverware by letting players leave. You win by keeping players together. While Theo is technically limited, the outlet he provides works really well for us. He's as productive as any winger in the world in terms of producing goals. His return of 24 goals and 23 assists the last two seasons is better than the return we've gotten from the various LW's we've used. This season his crossing has improved tremendously, and it would be really stupid to let him leave, considering all the time and money we've invested in him.
