You can't get used to it. Just try and see the positives.

Damn this sucks. Wish him luck wherever he goes. The most important part is to keep Wenger. I think he has to be tired of all his star players leaving when they finally reach their potential. He only has two years left on his contract, and hopefully he'll sign for a longer time. We'll find a new striker and be fine. Everyone will insist we will fall out of the top four, but I'm confident with Wenger we'll do alright.

TV5 is vice captain. Probably him.

Should make Bendtner captain, since all our captains leave.

He's not the only one tired of it. We're supposed to be a big money club, it's past time to flash some cash and pull in some players to make a run. Sick of all of these players bailing because they think management isn't doing enough to build a team.

Well said. It pretty much all comes down to this.

Yeah dangit. I was hoping we had turned the corner and were willing to put up the money for van Persie to stick around.

At this point we're a break even club. Wouldn't expect much change in philosophy until we get some new endorsement deals

I think we are pretty much on the doorstep of winning something, but then we have players leave. We've also had some terrible luck since 2007 that Wenger had no control over, especially with injuries. But when I look at the market, I don't see many players who we could afford that would improve us immediately. There are a handful, and we often chase after them, but we aren't going to get established superstars. We do an excellent job of making superstars, but we never buy them.

We just have to trust that our youth and scouting system helps us, as we can't compete in the transfer market at the moment.

There are plenty of players that can make a big difference that we can afford. The problem is we only buy 2 or 3 each summer and then 1 or 2 of our best players leave that same summer. It is and endless cycle. What we need the club to do is nut up and drop some money on 5 to 6 good signings in one summer and then maybe we will win a trophy or two. That plus offering our star players a decent wage amount will keep everyone happy and then we would have the foundation to compete for trophies every year.

Sell him now, preferably out of the country.

I agree 100%. The past season was an aberration for his career. He held the team together when things looked horrible. Don't forget Nasri did the same in the first half of the previous season. We still have Wenger. I am more concerned about Sagna and Wilshere being healthy. Sell him to an Serie A or La Liga team.

Would love Dempsey. He has a lot of qualities that we desperately need. His toughness, aerial ability, long distance shooting, and his back post runs just to name a few.

LOL. RVP wasn't the captain season before last. What a fricking dolt.

I think he was referring to losing Cesc (previous captain) and then RVP (current captain).

He is referring to this, and it is inexcusable. Your appointed team leader doesn't want to play for you, 2 seasons straight? Unbelievable.

I feel bad for all of those dolts who bought new RVP jerseys.

Here's to hoping Dempsey signs. I don't own an Arsenal jersey yet but I would buy that in a heartbeat. And touch myself every day while wearing it.
