He might be a slight improvement over Giroud. Giroud also cost us ten million and just spent an entire year getting used to his teammates and the English game in general.
A world class striker is someone who's a matchwinner IMO. We didn't really lose games last year bc of bad finishing, we had games where we barely conjured any chances. Henry, Bergkamp, Van Persie, those guys created their own goals as well as opportunities for others.
I love our team, but Cazorla, Walcott, Arteta, Ramsey, Podolski are a FAR cry from Messi, Aguero, Tevez, Ronaldo, Ozil, Di Maria(players who set him up for club and country.) Check out his hat trick in the 2010 WC, a perfect example of his type of goal scoring

Cazorla and Arteta produce chances really well, but we need Ramsey and Wilshere to step up in a big way.
