no.

he'll finish out his deal at BVB then go to Bayern next season. I would hope AW would at least call and get rejected

those i disagree with the premise of one moment leading to the downfall of a player, this was a fun read about Andrei Arshavin and why it went oh so wrong.

I'll never forget his goal against Barca. Happiest moment of my fan life. "Looks for ARSHAVVIIIIIIN!!!"

if we spend £50m on Higuain and Fellaini I will be very confused. maybe one, but two players who are very questionable fits in our scheme?

That said, we're always so secretive, I'm sure it will be a surprise who we sign.

bait and switch the drive down the price of an obscure Lithuanian U-19 starlet that's just a few years away from being a complete player.

I think he could eventually be a good player for us. needs another year or two on loan though.

Sterling, right?

RM already has said they´re not accepting less than that.

this is nearly identical to leeds bi-annual transfer window extravaganzas, with the words 'on loan' added on of course.

Good Lord, he should've had two or three goals on Mexico. He was creating more offense by himself than Mexico has had the entire round.

So any ideas who we are smashing our transfer record for? I hope it isn't Higuain. I'll be fine with him, but he's so reliant on good service that I wish we could find a striker who can create his own shot, especially when teams put 10 behind the ball.

no clue. I don't think anyone has any idea at this point.

couple of interesting notes:

-Crystal palace's former chairman says Zaha wanted to come to us but we said no

-younes belhanda is soon on the move to an EPL club according to Montpelier's president. he's probably off our radar at this point, but it'd only be around £15m so there's a chance AW has been secretly targeting him.

Belhanda would be a nice get. I don't think he comes to us. I'd really like to know what we are going to do with Gervinho. I'd love to get a winger like Gervinho who drives into the box, but is better at decision making.

apparently there are some French clubs interested in him. probably for the best he move on, but I'm not sure who we'd get as a replacement. would be nice to have an out and out winger option, but the only one we've been consistently linked to is Nani...
