You missed the thread on the rant showing we had the least number of arrests in the entire SEC (Excluding Vandy, of course)!!!

Why are we celebrating this? Getting arrested is not the norm.

How about another debate? Bringing in a DM??

1) Song - miserable at barca. Uncle Rig said he wanted to come back.

2) Medel - dubbed the chilean gattuso aka "the pitbull". named chilean footballer of the year in 2008. only 25. recently shut down messi.

3) etienne capoue - already tried to sign him in Jan but toulouse didn't want to sell. possibly the best rated on this list. 42 apps with 8 goals this season but only 1 assist. great ball control and dribbling

4) Luiz Gustavo - playing on the bench for bayern behind the swine and martinez, but still able to make an impact. our last brazilian DM was a boss.

5) Xabi Alonso - getting up there in age but still class player

6) anyone else that tickles your fancy?

Anyone who can deliver that incisive pass. Song seemed to have been good at that.

Dont think he meant it like that. Getting in a bar fight or smoking some bud =/= thuggin it and lovin it. That kind of reactionary stuff is for middle aged ranters with conveniently short memories. Jefferson could be an exception for kicking someone's head in like a thug pos. Ryan perrilloux too. But it's surprisingly uncommon.

Any chance we could entice Fellaini with Moyes leaving Everton?

Well, a lot of high profile athletes seem to.

No one is celebrating, but it happens. Athletes are put on a pedestal and think they can get away with everything, sometimes they do.

Anyways, hope we pull off the win tomorrow. Hope rosicky starts, cant get off to a slow start.

Supposedly Higuain is about to sign... it's in spanish so here it is translated

Gonzalo Higuain is already out of Real Madrid target. The white front had already reached a preliminary agreement with Arsenal to sign for five seasons and the London club would pay an amount close to 22 million euros for the player. The environment Higuain had several offers and has already taken the decision to leave the Bernabeu at the end of season. His priority has always been the Premier League, where he also received strong interest from Tottenham. Higuain resignation and playing in calcium, where Juventus had two years following him and doing it for personal and professional reasons. Prefer to go to England.

The agreement between Higuain and Arsenal is total and seems that Real Madrid will have little to say because you want to break away from the front and end up accepting the 22 million euros that will pay the English. Yes, everything is outstanding at the end Arsenal qualified for the Champions League. Otherwise, look for another way Higuain and could go to the Tottenham if this team is just qualifying.

Higuain start for Real Madrid upset considering that he has never been appreciated as it deserves. In fact, still waiting for the expansion and improvement of contract that promised him since the preseason and that they have never met.

I wouldn't be against it. Higuian is sometimes wasteful with his chances, but if anyone can improve him, it's Wenger. Also he's probably a better finisher than anyone we have right now. At times I wish we would go back to the 4-4-2 to take advantage of Giroud's ability to hold up and link play, and Podolski's desire to receive the ball into his feet, as well as Theo's desire to make central runs. With how deep Arteta and Ramsey play, we basically play that way, with either Cazorla or Rosicky as the shadow striker.

And our defensive shape has ranged from a deep 4-4-1-1 to a 4-2-3-1 this season. Defensively I thought we looked excellent as a 4-4-1-1, though that came apart in the 1st Chelsea game due to TV5 being a moron and Koscielny marking like a moron. We seemed to abandon that rather deep defensive shape rather quickly. Our pressing game with Giroud is much better than it is with our other "strikers" but I wouldn't be opposed to the false press after a period of team pressing. Our defensive game is so inconsistent. It's like we go out there with absolutely no instruction on team shape or opposition tactics.

on another note: FUUUUUCCCCKKKKK YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

thought poldi was largely garbage, but two goals is always nice.

four double digit goalscorers in the league. not too shabby.

santi - 12 goals, 10 assists in his first season. i can dig it. definitely had some fap-worthy dribbling today.

theo - 14 goals, 10 assists.

rooney and mata the only other two to have double digits in G/A.

glad rambo got a goal. confidently taken by a guy who can't score for shite.

gibbs was awesome.

Who plays in place of Arteta on Sunday? Ramsey? Rosicky? I don't like what I've seen from Jack lately. He's just not fit and needs surgery on that ankle.

I might start with a top three of Poldi, Theo, and Ox, with Carzola playing just behind them and Ramsey and Rosicky as the other two midfielders.

Keep the same back four.

pretty sure we'll see what crazy and others have been wanting: Ramsey and Jack as the deeper midfield pivot.

i hope giroud or theo starts through the middle. poldi is super frustrating to watch, despite his goals tonight. his movement is terrible. worst example tonight was a fast counter where rosicky was pushing it forward and he stood about 10 yds from the halfway line waiting for a pass so he could play yet another 1-2. tomas just dribbled past him while he stood there.

Is Kos silently becoming Arsenal's best player? Someone posted the picture of that high legged clearance in the game thread and it reminded me of how well he played yesterday. He's always in excellent position, and, unlike Verm, I actually like it when he makes his rare movements forward. He always looks unsure, but usually does something quite reasonable.

I'd be glad to get Rooney.

I'd learn to like him in a hurry.

But they'd never sell him to Arsenal.
