Can I give myself props and say I was mostly right about Ramsey? fricking myopic fans.
Yes. I never lost any faith in him. What he has had to go through both physically and mentally in the last couple of years was extremely difficult.

I dunno, anyone who argued that he was good at the beginning of the season is still wrong. If you just said he has potential when played in the correct position then sure

I've always said his play was indicative of a lack of confidence, not an inherent lack of quality.
Here's what I wrote in December.
quote:
For all the Ramsey bashing, which is mostly deserved, a player of his mold is absolutely key for our type of midfield. We desperately need a runner who makes runs into spaces. Ramsey does that really well, but his problem is that he is a touch too late on his passes. A notable example is in the Man U game, where he combined with Sagna to beat Evra, but took a touch before he tried to release a pass, when it would have been better to release the cross first time to Giroud who had about a yard of space. That is indicative of confidence, and not of an inherent lack of quality in my opinion, and it has been something that has plagued this side all year.
Since the beginning of the new year he's been one of our best players. While he was frustrating last year, he still created 55 goal scoring chances, which was only second behind RvP in 2011-2012. This season he's been the new Ray Parlour, playing DM, AM, RM, LM, and RB. Do we have a player as versatile as this? I still think he's a touch late on passes that require intricacy, but he's become really good at breaking up play and recycling possession, as well as being our best presser of the ball.
The hate Ramsey got was disproportionate to his actual play. But again, I'm not a myopic fan. While his play disappointed me at times, I still saw plenty of good things. I remember Arsenal fans on the internet bemoaning the fact that Ramsey signed a new contract. That pissed me off because if not for the injury, Ramsey would be considered one of the top young midfielders in Europe.

I've been on the Ramsey bandwagon since last season. He catches way too much grief for my liking.

We will get along just fine.

I'm proud to have a #16 shirt. Ramsey's best days at Arsenal are definitely still ahead.

How we didn't win a CL title in the early to mid 2000's is astonishing. I've spent the last few hours on youtube and it has blown my mind.

Nice three, though it seemed we couldn't stand prosperity and did our best to give it back.
If you offered it to me right now, I'd take the point against ManUre and let the chips fall where they may.
I hope we don't piss away points against QPR or Wigan.

I would be pleased no matter what the result of #AFCvMUFC as long as Patrice Evra blocked a rocket clearance with his testicles, inverting them inside his lower bowels and then getting pissed on by a stray dog that's wondered onto the pitch.

I guess that coincides with the beginning of March when we crawl out of our uppermid-table hole and start putting our shite together to finish 4th and Wenger emerges from his sleeping bag cocoon as a transformed tactician.

I can haz Podolski start up top now?
IIRC, Walcott played decently there in December-January as well.

Lets just go 4-4-2 with Poldi on the left and Walcott on the right up front.
