FINE I'LL COMMENT ON THE GAME

Seriously though damn near everyone had a good game, aside from Giroud (yes he scored early) but after that he kept being a little too slow or just not making the appropriate back post run, it was frustrating because I think there were about 3 opportunities for him to score if his feet or his brain moved a little faster.

Jenkinson had a good game on both ends, two critical tackles on Robben and a few decent attacks where he cut inside and left 2 Bayern defenders looking stupid guarding the corner.

Fabianski was better than expected, and it's really unfortunate that Gibbs wasn't at 100% and Poldi was out.

I'm proud of the team. While they were completely dominated in the possession game, I was very impressed with the back line. I thought Kos was the player of the game. He looked like last year's Kos.

I couldn't figure out why there were so many missed passes to places where the passer thought the receiver would be. It happened an unusual amount yesterday. It could be because that midfield combination has never really played together before yesterday.

I'm really hoping this defensive performance is used as a springboard for the last 10 games. My one worry is that they ran their asses off yesterday and might be worn out for Swansea.

Geez, third page? SMH

nice weekend for us. Hopefully we can keep it going. Thought our D was really good Saturday. Keep rolling with this lineup.

Also, In depressing former Arsenal top prospect news,Fran Merida is now playing in Brazil.

Could the back to back clean sheets signal the end of Verm as a staple in the back line? Kos and Per have been pretty awesome back there the last two games.

I agree. The defense has been playing much better. I'd be up for selling him during the summer.

Arteta should be the captain any way. Not really an issue for me.

Well I was more going for making fun of the inevitable media headlines this summer if that happens, I'm fine with Arteta being captain now and eventually when he hangs it up, Ole Jacky boy.

I hope so. I wouldn't mind Per being shipped out either, but he's not a bad 3rd CB option. We need to buy a quality CB to pair with Kos.

I'm cool with Mikel as captain for a year or two until Jack is ready to take the armband.

Fabianski has looked good these past two games overall, but his Flappyanski moment on that corner gave me flashbacks.

Dropping off the first page again. Damn.

Thought Cazorla was brilliant Saturday. He's better at no. 10 than out wide, but I understand the need to fit he and Jack in the squad. Hopefully, going forward, Wenger can rotate more and give Jack a breather. I know this injury spell is more precautionary than anything else, but it's concerning that Jack's body has down a propensity to break down through a long season. Hopefully he'll grow through that. If not, we need to recognize that and keep him to 35-40 games a year with rests along the way.

I really wonder how many players we're going to ship out this summer. Certainly lots of candidates.

I'll be in Denver this week. Might catch a Nugs game. I'll ask Stan what's up.

Do that. We should have pool as to what Arsenal players get nicked during the International break.

Rather keep verm, we arent going to buy anither decent cb. Unless hes butt hurt about riding the pine.

Recently the top 3 cbs have all missed time due to injury.

I think we are/will.

Here's the guys who I think could possibly be sold this summer (not saying they will, just a chance):

-Fabianski or Mannone (1 will have to go, at least. Maybe both considering Martinez and Iliev's progression and the possibility we bring in another GK. Think Fabianski is out of contract. If Fabianski stakes his claim to the no. 1 jersey to the point we don't buy, Mannone is out.)

-Definitely Sagna, who should get us a decent fee. Squid is also gone as he's out of contract as is Arshavin.

-Verm or Per. I think we buy a new CB and send one of these two packing.

-Diaby, though I think this is very unlikely because Wenger loves him.

-We'll try to sell Park, Chamakh, Denilson, Bendtner, and maybe Djourou, but I doubt there'll be any bites there.

This is the first summer we'll be able to keep everyone we want to keep and actually strengthen the squad and create more depth. Really hope we make the CL so there will be more cash available.

Y'all see the rumors of Per ending his contract early (he denied them obviously) but I was just surprised something like that got started even.

-Diaby
Please sell him ><

Also would be muy bueno if we are free of Squid, Arshavin, Chamakh, Park, Denilson, Bendtner after this summer, or even half of those.

And to round off this page 2 bump, enjoy a gif of the scene that had me crying laughing in Archer just now.

I love Archer.

Frimpong got called for Ghana's qualifier. Who else has been called?
