Well at least we lose Gervinho for the African Cup of Nations. We can only pray that Ivory Coast make the final and maybe he picks up the slightest of a career ending injury.

Well that sucked, don't think we really even deserved the point. We looked so damn shitty today.

You could argue that Lambert was interfering with the play by being in an offsides position; harsh call nonetheless.

Yea same thing that happened in the United match a few days ago.

The Laws of the Game are embarrassingly vague. The US Constitution has less room for interpretation.

I continue to not understand this team.

Just read that ONREEEEEE is not going to join AFC on loan.

Yeah that was decided awhile back. Houllier wasn't going to let him, I believe. We need more permanent help anyways.

Any truth to the rumors on twitter that Walcott signed a new deal for $90k a week?

Young Guns is reporting it. You never know until the club announces though...
If we're giving him PT at CF and increasing our offer, he should sign.

Sure hope so.
Who are some legitimate transfer targets during the window?
re: Arsenal 2012/2013 Season Long ThreadPosted by Friend of OBUDan on 1/2/13 at 11:42 am to Stewie Griffin
Besides Zaha, no one really knows who our targets will be. Ba and Huntelaar were each rumored at one point but Chelsea are about to lock Ba up and KJH signed an extension.
Other long term links are Adrian Lopez from Atletico, Llorente, Yanga-Mbiwa, Strootman. David Villa has been a name thrown around, but Balague says he won't go until the summer and he isn't really a Wenger signing anyways.
Apparently Rennes just want to get rid of M'Vila. Could keep an eye on that situation. Wenger has taken on talented malcontents before.
Luke Shaw is a potential signing, though we'll probably wait until the summer to sign another LB and RB.
Those probably exiting the club in January are Arshavin, Chamakh, djourou. Doubt we can sell squid or Santos.

the only glaring difference I see is Aerial Duels won, otherwise he looks almost as good.

I tweeted orbinho about that but he never responded. It'd be interesting to see the percentages between the two. Because I'd guess teams challenge the smaller Sagna aerially more often, but that may be wrong. That's just a huge discrepancy there.

Seeing mention of Acquah and M'Vila, you fellows think it's time to move on from Diaby since he's so delicate?
Zaha would be a nice pickup since it looks like Walcott is getting what he wishes in the center.

Would love Zaha as a right winger..
Heard we had negotiated a transfer fee with CP and then had negotiations with Zaha/agent break down though.
