I honestly think y'all should go for Falcao... He deserves CL football, too... And Pep has expressed his admiration before..

Bayernzone? Those people are fricking crazy. Half of them don't want anyone unless they're German and half of them hate everything.

Everyone loves Falcao but I think that price is going to be insane.

Honestly, if I'd make a striker wishlist, Falcao, Suarez, and Aguero would probably be on top.

Watch this video of Sturridge/Suarez's link up play. Keep in mind they have played together less than 2 weeks and Sturridge is considered by many to just be a slightly above average English talent. Then imagine what he would do at Bayern.

the only thing about buying suarez or falcao is the board just splashed for the biggest bundesliga signing ever last summer, went out and got the biggest name in coaching this summer, and then on top of all that shell out another 40mm? that's not typically how bayern likes to operate, but that doesn't mean it wont happen. But at the same time, the team is already built for the future, so if we got a striker that would be the last puzzle piece for a couple of seasons. Who knows

In general, the people on the internet make me want to cease living on this planet. Suarez has his negatives - no fan will deny that. He whines like no other. His theatrics once on the ground are certainly annoying, even for his biggest fans. But his positives outweigh that tenfold. Not even addressing his actual talents, his passion is what you want from a teammate. He will literally run himself into the ground for 90 minutes straight, even if losing 5-0. He will do anything for the team.

I'm fairly familiar with Bayern in a plutonic manner, so I'm not positive on this. But there have to be players Pep will be looking to offload, right? Maybe bring in several million off of sales?

I doubt any one remembers this but when Luis Suarez was at Ajax, I was sucking him off hardcore saying that big clubs should try to sign him. I love his work ethic and skill.

eta - ajax, not psv. brainfart.

I know, I was just suggesting an alternative to Suarez for selfish reasons... I agree with BEAST, put him on a team like Bayern and people will start talking about him right behind Messi and Ronaldo... I think he's that good

That turn at the 1:00 mark

well logically one would assume gomez will be shipped out, i've also heard robben has worn out his welcome. then of course there could be other guys in the squad that pep doesn't rate as highly as Jupp did, so yes it's perfectly reasonable to assume that. I know the club has a small loan remaining on the Allianz, they just bought that massive land plot to build a new youth academy, and they are expecting a new 10% share holder sponsorship. So in all honesty i have no idea what direction the club is trying to go at the moment. obviously up, but by what means i'm not sure. i'd be inclined to say it's a youth movement, but the present must also be accounted for.

Suarez vs Norwich

That right there is soccer porn. And this is a weekly basis for Suarez. His pass at the 0:51 second mark is truly unbelievable from a forward.

He can play anywhere in the front 3 and the #10 role. Him and Pep are a match made in heaven.

Big sales? Mario Gomez will probably be for sale, IMO Mario Mandzukic has played better than he has since coming back from injury. Tymoschuk will leave on a free. Arjen Robben could be gone as well, his constant injuries as well being outspoken is getting on people's nerves.

I think Pep will try to integrate youth players in his squad right away, Pierre Hojbjerg, Mitchell Weiser, and Patrick Weihrauch seem to be likely. I think Emre Can will be sold, he hasn't lived up to it. I read that they may try to move him to CB.

I also like what I've seen from Kevin Friesenbichler. The youth players have been very impressive.

If Weiser can impress during his loan, he may make Arjen Robben expendable with Muller and Shaqiri also able to play there.

Wildcard to be sold, IMO, is Jerome Boateng. I like him but he's inconsistent and I don't know how Pep will like him.

If Pep does send Gomez packing, which I assume he will, that sale alone should bring in 30€ mil. Robben will probably be gone too simply because he just doesn't fit Pep's system (passing). I don't see any others players leaving though. There will be some guys that see less playing time, and that might lead to the player wanting out, but i don't see Pep immediately getting rid of anyone besides Gomez and Robben.

That money alone--assuming Gomez brings in 30€ mil and Robben fetches about 12€ mil--could buy either alot of young, project type players, a couple of solid players, or a new star.

Personally, if they leave, I'd like the club to splash out for a 9.5 player to fit into Pep's system. Suarez would be good, but I think Jovetic could play that role too. He also comes with less baggage. Neymar could be a possibility in that role too, but chances are he would get broken in two in Germany. Marco Reus would be ideal but...well we know why that will never happen...

He absolutely can play that role and if we were to lose Suarez to Bayern, he's the player I'd like to see us (LFC) get...

Should bring in at least 10-15mm (depending on how much he has left on his contract).

Wow, I forgot he was still alive.

Nice. Tweezy has been my go-to source on him.

I'll be a permanent in Bundesliga threads now since I'm going to be covering it.

Jovetic is a very good player.

The thing with Robben is that when he's healthy and on form, he'll change games and flat out dominate. If he's not on form, he will still shoot. I think he'll drive Pep to the verge of insanity.

Pierre Hojberg will begin getting time this season and I think that's because Pep likes what he sees from him.

Mario Gomez is valued at €42,000,000 transfermarkt. He's under contract until 2016. He's a very good poacher and I think would do very well in the EPL. It's easy to forget he scored 40 goals in all competitions for Bayern last year.

I don't think he'll quite fetch the 42mm but Bayern isn't the type of club to take a loss on a player just to get rid of him. I think they'll find a good deal if Pep doesn't want him.
