My bi-monthly request for a Tech Talk Board.

Again, any random check of the OT and Money Boards will show that 15%-20% of threads are tech related.
It will be an active board with broad appeal.

Side note, if Ramrod gets admin privileges, I expect them as well to maintain checks and balances.

Well, that post mentioned that they were "mulling" it over, so it wasn't technically an official confirmation.

Terrible idea. That's what an OT is for on boards like this. It's just a shame there is no soc board so that we could have a real OT.

IMO, the solution isn't to make new boards.. how about they shrink the amount of forums so that the OT has more diversity?

There are literally an unlimited number of things to discuss on the OT. When one subject starts taking up 20% or 25% of the posts on a couple of boards, it needs it's on board. That's the way it has always worked.
All of the non-sports boards were born out the OT in this manner. The OT spits out new boards when it gets heavy with one subject. It seems obvious that a tech board is a no brainer.

Technology threads consistently outnumbered music threads on the OT, yet the audiophiles were granted a dedicated board.
