Best crossbow?

Have a friend of mine looking to buy a crossbow. My dad has a nice Horton and he likes it. As far as crossbows are concerned what brand is widely considered top of the line or the best? Thanks OB

My knowledge with bows and crossbows is pretty limited. I bought a Bear Attack last year on deployment and put 36 arrows down range every 3 days for about 6 months after they shipped it to me. I shot a few Mathews, BowTechs, and Hoyt compounds. The only crossbows that I have ever shot were one of the Hoyts' (I believe) and a Strykezone 350 by Stryker I think. The Hoyt was pretty good...... fast and accurate. The Strykezone was pretty badass. Super fast and accurate. I would have to try out a few more before I can offer a better opinion, but that is my .02 for my experience
