BF3: Resetting Stats

Has anyone done this yet? I've been considering it, but I don't want to lose my weapon stats. I do want to because I'm pretty sure my SPM would jump to around 575 to 600.
What stats specifically does it reset?

Curiosity is the main reason I'd want to. I'm just not sure its worth it. I'll probably pull the trigger on it after I'm finished with these recon assignments. I suck arse with recon.
