Definite want if he's affordable. He's young enough that paying him free agent money won't be dead money in a few years and he'd be great off the bench and could even start some.

He is my #1 want of FA if we can get him at a reasonable price. With Oak gone, we need someone to dominate the boards along with AD and Ersan does just that

Looks like he'd be a nice fit at PF to complement Davis if he can play center eventually, but I don't want us to overpay for a guy that won't be a game changer. I guess I have my hopes too high with the D Will talk.

i dont think you'd pay him the money he will command to bring him off the bench, but that's just my opinion.

He had a monster 2nd half last year. Like Dragic, someone will pay him.

I think he'd be a good fit

We've been linked along with a lot of teams, as being interested.

I would really like to have him, but I don't want to overpay.

I agree, but how much is overpaying for him? I'm not that great when it comes to contract numbers.

would you rather give money to him or Dragic, i think that is a good question?

i'd rather pay Illyasova. Good rebounder and can really shoot.

I think the way the NBA is trending now, you could stick him and Davis in the same front court

I see him atlete-wise as being a younger Peja. The hornets used to have Peja and Dwest on the floor at the same time. If the Hornets can successfully put Peja and Dwest in the same frontcourt, AD and Ilyasova would work. But bottom line, Davis will be much better if he adds some weight.

Really good question. I'm going to go with the minority opinion with Dragic. I think we need a severe upgrade in speed and scoring.

But I'm ok with giving Aminu his shot, and I know you don't like him.

if you want to see a funny outlier, go look at his FT rates for his career

in 10/11 it jumped to 89%

dude shot 45.5% from the 3 last year, though

And we really should be wary, seeing he played on a shite team. But he proved he can bang and rebound and step out and hit the 3. He actually shot 50% from 3 in the 2nd half.

oh yeah he definitely was stuffing the statline on a shite team (in a contract year no less)

his 2nd half was assuredly better than he'll ever consistently play

getting him for 8-9M would be good, though, imho. he's really good on the pick and roll and jack/gordon can run that

davis could be a good help defender to make up for some of his shortcomings there

I really like this guy from the small sample I saw last year. He was a nice fantasy pickup as well. He is a well rounded player that can play the 3 or 4. Would be a great addition for the reasonable $$
