Since yesterday I ordered my new express cc hyperlift with the 150 yamaha 4 stroke and today I finally got a offical sale on my bass boat and have cash in hand. I was talking to a buddy and he gave me a pretty true statement I had never heard. Have any of you heard it?

"The two best days of boat ownership are the day you buy the boat and the day you sell the boat."
Very True.

If you did your research and got a boat thay fits your needs; enjoy your boat and skip the buyer’s remorse...

I know a lot of people that get boats and love them for the season and then they slowly lose interest and once the boat gets dirty, out of shape, needs engine tune-up, they dont bother with it and begin to hate it and sell it.

Keep you boat running good, keep it clean, use it regularly, and you will enjoy it.

No I did my research and the boat will fit my needs and won't have remorse. But you will just about never be more excited than making the purchase and getting cash in hand when you sell it to get a new one.

Yeah when I sold my boat today it was 12 years old and I had bought it brand new the guys commented how great shape it was and how I must have taken care of it. I never thought I was one to baby a boat but I must have did pretty good with it. I never had that mercury xr6 worked on in the 12 years I owned it except preventative maintenance.

Not true. I appreciate my boats every day because I would be extremely limited in places I could go without one. If you buy for glitz, well that shite wears off quick. Buy because it fits your need, you will enjoy it as long as you have it.

My only remorse is I hate paying the note on it. Once its paid for I'll love it

Yeah, I don't go that route. I buy used, and pay cash. I can't stand paying notes on cars, boats, etc. I may not be able to have the boat of my dreams, but I can certainly have one that fits my need and doesn't require me to continue paying for it or can go back if I experience a loss of income.
