It's what most Louisiana high schools do, thus why you rarely see a good QB come out of the state. Put your best athlete at QB so he gets the most touches

i like a future DB playing QB....might give him an edge on learning how they think and tendencies he can use in the future

I read an interview with the coach a few weeks ago. Brazil will be their primary QB, but I think they are working out another guy as well. That way they can get Brazil involved as a RB and WR as well. From their standpoint though, it makes sense. If they end up not needing him at QB, it's an easier transition from there to RB or WR than vice versa if it turned out later that they did need him there.

Louisiana-born QBs have appeared in (12) and won (8) more Superbowls than QBs from any other state.

I think Geauxaggie is referencing more to the growing trend in La. more than anything else. I mean when you think about it who has the state produced since Perrilloux? And before that the Manning brothers? Lot of gaps in La. between legit D-1 quarterbacks.

That is a bad move! You cant just play quarterback all year and then not be rusty playing receiver or DB. Those coaches need to be told to go to hell and let them play the position their gonna play in college so they can get experience at their college positions. Playing quarterback in high school in no way helps you be a better db thats just stupid.
