getting one of these to go along with the smokenator. thoughts on smokenator? is the perfromer worth double the cost?

I have a Silver and the ash can alone would be super nice.

It's definitely worth it. I have a performer. You'll love the work space, the propane starter and the storage bin. And the built-in thermometer. With a One-touch, you'll have to have some kind of work table probably, maybe a thermometer, a place to store your charcoal, etc., etc.
