The Secret World, any opinions?

Anyone know much about this game? One of my buddies has a raging hard on for this game. It looks pretty interesting: no levels, a skill circle sort of deal where you can basically have endless amounts of options when it comes to building your character, and it has this "real world" feel to it in the sense that everything apparently takes place on Earth. It looks interesting, but to be honest I'm just not sure it's going to have enough of a following to do a whole lot.

I am under an NDA I believe, but I will just say that I am no longer interested in the game.

I do think they have an open beta coming up very soon though, so maybe you'll be able to share more in the near future.

Didn't play it all that much this weekend. It has a great environment, fun story, etc.
I'm not a fan of the skill/classing system, it seems both open, but limited at the same time. Not enough options. I liked the options they had, but I wanted more options. And most of the magic sets seemed really limited.
Animations are awkward and although most PvPs end up in the same place, it seemed just like a "Who has the biggest zerg" competition, which ends up in cap chasing.
I wanted to like it more. I think it would work on some level, but it needs a lot of work. That and the supposed cash shop+subscription model is a massive turn off.
I would B2P the game probably, but would not pay a a subscription.
