How about tony wroten? I think if we can trade 10th pick for some veteran and move back a few spots we should b able to get him. Not a good shooter but a playmaker. Steal imo

We are rebuilding, no veterans allowed

Do not trade, keep the 10th pick and take your best shot..........get it shot

Wroten looked awful at the combine. Couldn't hit water if he fell out of a boat......

Maybe get him if we buy a late 1st or early 2nd

There are about 20 other players I would rather have than Wroten. IMO he is no better than Vasquez

Im saying that he is not better, sorry if that was confusing.

he was good in college but reminds me of JuJu

Yea that may be a better spot to take him but i think he will be the best point point gaurd in this draft.

Wroten is a risk. He's athletic and a good ball handler. Honestly, he's the kind of guy that I'd like to watch because he makes plays. However, his shooting needs to improve, and I'm not sure his athleticism and playmaking is worth a Hornet's draft pick.

You know.. we're talking about a guy who averages more turnovers than assists. He also does not have any concept of playing the position. His jumpshot isn't his only problem. He has so much flaws right now that it'll take so much work for him to evolve into a competent guard.
Things that people really need to understand about Wroten. He isn't a PG. He has PG-like abilities with his handles and passing ability. He doesn't have a PG mentality, IQ, or Smarts.
He's a gifted athlete who imo will need to develop as a SG in the NBA.

For the most part, I agree with you. I saw flashes of very good play from him, but he seems like a bit of a project.

Which makes his 16ppg average impressive considering the circumstances.
