And after seeing it, the only thing that was clear is that someone said, "I want my money." Everything else was calming the D down, getting the gameplan organized, and the players saying it's not over, it's not over and the tape played for awhile with time jumps. Still no hard evidence of a bounty from that tape, the unknown voice could have been insinuating anything from a player to player bet regarding anything, the possibilities are endless and I do not see how the video is useable evidence.

Have you not seen it?

pretty easy to follow. Vitt says backup coming in game, thinks Farve's leg is broken, Hargrove smiles and yells: Bobby, pay me my money

That evidence means nothing. They could have had a personal pool as to who could take him out. Even then, unless he tire ironed him or purposely broke his leg, it's a nonfactor.

So Payton got suspended because two players had a bet between each other.

On the hit that they thought knocked out Favre, I thought it was Ayodele high and McCray low? Why does Hargrove say that to McCray?

IIRC, a player said his leg is broken. Hargrove did not say "Bobby, pay me my money" in the video, he said, "I want my money," while on the bench.

Hargrove had a serious hit on Farve alone in that game

I don't know the timeline but he nailed him at least once

"Hey, Bobby, give me the money," Hargrove, who later received a $5,000 fine for an illegal hit on Favre, says to former teammate Bobby McCray after the quarterback limped from the field.

That's a link of a written column, the actual video has been played on ESPN and Hargrove said "I want my money." I wish I could find the video, I'm sure they'll play it again.

The same "CSP" who appealed punishment? No one's saying nothing happened, but they're making it out to be a lot crazier than it seems. If the NFL would be more open and not play so many games with the info, this would all be over. Instead, they're holding it like their diary, and anyone who wants to see it is looked at like they're a monster.

If it was not preceded by someone pointing out Favre's leg was broken, sounds like there could have been a side bet between players for a sack.

Only one person in this thread has said Vitt informed them Favre looked to be out of the game first, and I haven't seen the video myself.

Hs anybody looked to see if Hargrove had performance incentives written into his contract, for winning the NFC championship game or making it to Super Bowl. If so that might explain give me my money because he knows the game is over if Farve does not return.

For that matter isn't Performance Incentives a form of a bounty in themselves?

What hit were they talking about? Was it the one where McCray came in low?
