Funny how many people are avid LSU golf fans now and speak in terms of "Dude, did you see Peterson this weekend"? "Did you see Peterson's hole in one"?
I thinks its wonderful btw.

I love golf, therefore I knew who john peterson was.
I hate women's sports and I hate soccer. Therefore until mo Islams teammates came along and started vote for moe threads 6 months prior to election time I didn't have any clue who she was.

I had actually met the guy before he worked with one of my best friends while he was in college.....I knew he played golf for LSU did not know he was good....didn't know he played pro golf until 4-5 days ago

Guilty as charged, but now that it was mentioned in this thread, I kinda remember they introduced some guy at a football game last year that had won the individual title, but being drunk at the time I didn't remember his name.

I am good friends with a college teammate of his so we've hung out a good bit and his name gets air play amongst our friend group's discussions sometimes. I knew he was a consistent, solid golfer for a while now, but he has really blossomed in the last year.
Needs to shut frick up on twitter though if he ever wants to get some sponsors to pay him a lot. (albeit he has been better recently)

He has said some inappropriate non-PC stuff that major media wouldn't like at all. That's all I'll say. Just needs to get out of his drunk partying college phase. He has been better recently though.
He didn't realize for a while that he needs to cross all his Ts and dot all his Is if he wants to get the big endorsements. Gotta leave college shenanigans behind for the most part. Especially now that he has some serious international attention as a player.

Also, just like most stud golfers, he is kind of a smug prick. Goes with the territory and mindset though of being an elite golfer usually. (yes there are exceptions like Couples and Toms)

Yep, sell his soul like Furyk to a NASCAR-esque sponsor like 5 Hour Energy
Also get as many smaller sponsorships as possible. Titleist, Scotty, Footjoy, etc.
Try and put a logo on everything you have.
