Just convinced the SO to stop watching some Oprah show and to start watching BB.
We are on S1 E6 and she is hooked.
I am looking forward to watching BB for a second time!

We just started a couple weeks ago. 2 episodes a night. On the season 2 finale. This show is awesome but so unbelievably dark and intense

I remember starting the pilot one afternoon, and I couldn't stop until I watched all seven season one episodes. Great show.

I'm frickin PISSED that I missed when they started reshowing the whole series. For some reason, I thought they were starting that in July, when actually it's the new season that starts in July. So I guess I can set the DVR to start recording season 2 on and just rent the first season and a half, but I'm still pissed.

Sweet...I've been waiting on the new Breaking Bad thread for a couple of days now.

Yeah, great show. One of my favorite ever. Looking forward to next Sat. when AMC starts replaying season four, and I can get caught up. By all accounts, season four is the greatest thing that's ever been taped...ever.

Do you not have netflix? I'm pretty sure the first four seasons are on it, I know the first three are.

Are 3 and 4 as good as they were the first time around?
There aren't many shows worth a second viewing.
The first 6 episodes have me hooked again, so I have high hopes for the rest of the series.
And it probably is a great lead up to July 15th.

I've got all seasons on DVD and they never get old. Hell, I'm even watching the AMC reruns.

Every season is better than the last. Season 4 really is the best season of a drama series I have ever seen. Just my opinion.

Breaking Bad cast interview at the LA film festival - spoilers inside for people who haven't watched Season 4

quote:

It’s hard to fathom now, three Emmy wins for Best Actor later, but Sony and AMC initially weren’t too keen on Cranston playing the role of mild-mannered cancer patient-turned-formidable drug lord Walter White. As Cranston remembers it, they asked Gilligan incredulously, “You want the silly dad from ‘Malcolm in the Middle’ to play Walter White? You’ve gotta be kidding.” (Lucky for us, he wasn’t.) Cranston also tossed off one of the best descriptions of “Breaking Bad” we’ve heard yet, likening it to “a rollercoaster in the dark, where you don’t really know when the twists and turns will come.” (That’s why we love it!)
