Cleats - knee problems

I had surgery on my right knee after I broke my knee cap in an off-the-ball injury 5 years ago and my knee caps will still pop out of place every couple rec seasons. After all these years, I am convinced it's from overpronation. My questions - do any cleat manufacturers make cleats designed for overpronantion, similar to asics for running shoes? Anyone have similar knee problems?

Have you ever thought of wearing a knee brace while playing?

I did for a while but I feel like it hinders my movement because I have to wear them on both legs.

Maybe it's time to retire.

It'd be easier to get an insert custom made to account for your pronation. Also, google McConnel taping. It's pretty damn easy and often times works wonders for frequent patellar dislocators. You need to do some serious quad strengthening to assist with keeping it in place as well.
