It's a shame he didn't win a SB in 06. That Chargers team was loaded...

I'll admit I called him overrated coming out of TCU. Said his cupcake competition inflated his stats.

Surprised no one showed the picture of him sitting on the bench with his helmet on during the playoffs yet.

He was fantasy gold for several seasons. Helped take TCU's program to another level.

Doesn't feel like he's been in the league 11 seasons. His career went by so quick

The greatest RB of this era.

unfortunately for him, this is his "action figure" in the playoffs:

just jivin'...LT was a great back who was fun to watch play the game.

When you rush for 405 yds in a game I think it evens out. Pretty much knew he would blow up after that.

I graduated from TCU in '96 and was still attending games regularly in '98 and '99.

Now, I've watched a lot of football and ... and the first time I ever saw LT play in person... Never before or since have I seen a player that was relatively unknown just JUMP out and hit me with a bolt of realization that "Holy shite... This guy right here is going to be greatness." Like you're standing on the top of a 10-story building and see a funnel cloud drop 3 blocks away - and you are just looking around the half-empty stands (because they were quite often then) thinking "are ANY of y'all seeing what I'm seeing here? Well rest-of-the-world... you'll see soon enough."

I'm still kicking myself I wasn't at the UTEP game where he broke the record (it was right after Thanksgiving)... nor did I make it to any games in 2000 (he should have won the Heisman in addition to the Doak Walker)...

As a Denver Broncos fan, it was like an absolute nightmare having to play him twice a year while he was with San Diego. He torched us year after year, and made it look just too easy. He was definitely a Bronco-killer back in his prime. It'll be great to see a class act like LT enter the Hall Of Fame some day.
