Every Day Should Be Saturday, always with a cool take on things, released this pic from Lindy's current College Football Issue. I thought the same thing when I read it myself...(scroll to bottom).
You don't have to justify anything you print, just put big numbers next to it and put it out there!

So he's saying CLM is a better game day coach/player developer/etc. than all the teams listed above LSU ?
Logically, you have to then take game performance into account so we're #1 or #2 in game performance but only #6 in recruiting.

yep. the 9-6 game was a miracle, since Bama's recruiting number is 30% bigger than LSU's.
IN fact, such miracles is what makes college football the fun it is.
sometimes teams with lesser players do win. sometimes its because of coaching. sometimes its because the units play as units. sometimes, shite just happens.
