I just closed on my refinance of my house. I got a 2.875 rate with no points for 10 years. They also had that same rate with no points for 15 years. Not sure if I can post who I went through so email me and I will tell you.
I read very poor reviews about the company but like a friend told me, you more than likely not going to see many reviews that had a great experience.
I will say I didnt realize how much of a pain it was to get a mortgage these days, but if you provide everything they ask for, which it always seemed like something new everyday, you shouldnt have a problem.
I am getting a 3.75% on an investment property with no points. Will close on that in a few weeks.
Email me at dallastxtiger@yahoo.com.

An experienced originator is going to ask for bank statements, tax returns, documented proof of any and all potential assets (liquid & illiquid), proof of employment, check-stubs, insurance provider names & numbers, account numbers and lender names and customer service numbers for all accounts being paid off or refinanced, etc. by the end of the 2nd phone call. They're also gonna ask you to either come in, e-mail or fax back a signed Borrower's Authorization Form so they can start collecting information on your behalf.
If they don't I'd wonder about their credentials.
The more documented information you provide to your originator up front, the less he has to ask for on the back.

My lender was an idiot and it seemed like she asked me to send her the same crap over and over again. Almost completely blew the whole deal with her incompetence. Just glad it got done in the end, but not without going wayyyyyy over her head to put pressure on her first
