Too many spoiled fans on here. We had a great season and ran into a tremendous team. This is no ordinary Cinderella.
They didn't catch any breaks. They flat out kicked our arse. And you know what?!?!? It had nothing to do with us! They were the better team from the beginning till the end. And I hope they win the whole damn thing. Stop crying you bunch of negatigers. K I'm done venting. But you people suck

Dude the only team that could maybe laugh is South Carolina. And they didn't play a team like Stony Brook in their super. So you fail

I've followed this team all year and this was the most disappionted I've been with the a defensive display.....that's got me mad..........we give up runs...but we do that every game

They did do very well ... but I don't have to pull for them.
Just as easy for me to pull for someone we have never played.

I understand its just frustrating to see us in a "good year" not go to Omaha after two terrible years. Those teams mentioned are constantly in the thick of things and in Omaha way more often.

I agree. And when you struggle to get a base hit you can't afford to give the other team runs. Hard to beat a team who knocks the cover off the ball on almost every pitch, foul or fair. And we didn't really have a ton of hard hit balls, the rare ones, right at em. Frustrating. But hats off to the obviously better team.

They hired a hitting coach and a damn good one. (I still don't like them though)
We have a guy that hangs around 3rd base and likes to pretend he's a hitting coach.

That is something I can't understand either. These guys looked the part of a national championship team. Granted our hitting made their pitchers look all-world. But their hitting, fielding, baserunnig....there wasnt anything they didn't do right. And I think that had to do with talent. Pure talent. And how they have more than a school like us, I do not know nor understand. But 1-9 they do.
