Lets give some credit to the Tigers this season.

Yes that was a crappy period to end this chapter, but this team wasn't expected to do much of anything this year and they rebounded from a pathetic 2011 campaign to go 7-2 against Arkansas, South Carolina, and Florida to win the SEC title.
This year was a step in the right direction for the most part and I am looking forward to next season.

Anybody but Stony Brook though. Although they are a very good team and played better than LSU, they were a 4 seed and it looks bad on LSU from the perception of being an elite program.

at the beginning of the season I would have never believed we'd end up a national seed. NEVER.

Yea, a SEC title is always something to be proud of. Wish it had not ended so bad, but it was still a heck of a season. We weren't hurt too bad in the draft, so hopefully this is just momentum for next season
