In game one we had 3 hits going into 9th and for 9 innings in game 2 we had 3 hits, SBU will be going to Omaha if we dont't pick it up.

God knows we need a hitting coach.

Couldn't agree more. This is one of the worst hitting LSU teams I can remember. Eventualy the lack of hitting is going to cost us, I just hope it's in the CWS and not game 3 here. Please get us a new hitting coach.

Thanks for this. All morning I've been wondering if three hits would get us a win today. Now I know, thanks to you and your thread, that 3 hits, in fact, will result in a tiger loss.
We're all better for having read this thread

I'm thinking 0-0 botttom of the 9th and LSU gets a couple of errors and walks to win it!

What if all 3 hits occur after SB walks the bases loaded and are all home runs? I'd think 12 runs would be enough to win, but I don't have your advanced baseball knowledge.

What if eades throws a perfect game and lsu gets 1 hit which is a solo hr. that would be less than 3 hits and a win

Also, it might help if LSU scores more than 0 ER against the starting pitcher this time. So far SUNY's starters have pitched 16 innings with no earned runs allowed.
