Lot's of good leftie hitters and they are tough on fastballs. Unless Eades has better than his normal control, look for him to exit early and give way to about five innings of Cotton and Bonvillain. If Eades has a very short outing, then somewhere between those pitching changes we could see Rumbelow or McCune if the matchups are favorable.

I'm optimistic, but I wish I knew more about what SB has in the pen.

I'm glad everyone treats Eades as if he has an ERA of 9 and hasn't pitched big in big spots

If he throws that flat FB, 9 would be awesome. I just don't like Eades against this team, but anything is possible, and maybe his stuff will show up.

It's not that I don't like Eades. It's just that I think our two lefties will match up better.

Good post!
Seems like the more intelligent posts come from posters with less than 1000 posts

a handful of posts and still no mention of the intimidator.

some people should post less and watch more actual baseball.

Hoping to get quality innings out of Eades. If not, I'm confident in our pen

Given his second half of the season and what's at stake tonight, CPM needs to have him on a shorter leash than usual. We're not going to win a slugfest with this team.

Eades needs to continue hitting 1st and 2nd pitch strikes, but not let it go from there. The SB hitters are very good fighting back from 0-2 counts.

If Eades can stay disciplined and not get frustrated after 0-2 counts, he should he solid. His pitch count isn't a concern.

We just needs him to stay focused and the bats come alive.

I like rumbelow out the bullpen as well. I'm hoping Eades brings it. I think we are all a little worried no matter who is out there. These guys can flat out hit.

I think the keys to the game are Hanover, Nola, and Rhymes
