Stony Brook will have a good scouting report on Eades, Cantwell caught him last year in the cape. Hopefully Ryan will bring his A game like we saw against Arkansas earlier this year.

Personally, I'd earhole Jankowski for trying to cleat Nola......although putting that SOB on base really isn't a good idea at any point.

Well, yeah, but Carmona should get hit also, so I feel like you can't hit everyone in the top of the order so we need to focus on one douchebag.

Yea it would probably be a bad idea to drive in a run getting revenge on assholes I reckon.....although several old school big leaguers probably could have justified it....Nolan Ryan comes to mind

Jankowski high cleated Nola, Carmona talked shite all game, Cantwell wore a stupid grin the entire game that just pissed me off. Cantwell is the most egregious offender, just because.

You know that one guy that just pisses you off about everything, Cantwell is that guy.

The 3rd basemen needs it the most IMO. Dude's antics after catching that pop fly to end the game....not cool

Good insight on their catcher knowing Eads.

SB plays an intimatation game. Still, Rey were scared shitless in inning 12 when eight thousand people showed up at 10am. Then they saw our ace was pitching.

If only we could have kept that momentum going...

That is true, but that was BEFORE Alan Dunn arrived to work with our pitchers this past Fall. The best Cantwell can give them in the way of a scouting report will be based on outdated information regarding Ryan's pitching tendancies and the variety of pitches he had available to him at that time. Ryan can more than handle this game situation. He seems to be able to focus in on what he has to do in tough situations to help the Tigers win.

If Eades is sharp the scouting report means nothing. Good pitching will always beat good hitting. For two decades everyone in the stands knew exactly what pitch Mario Rivera was going to throw, since he pretty much has one pitch, and still, no one could touch it.

Rivera > Eades

JK, I know what you mean and I expect Eades to pitch well in this big game.

Also, if Eads knows what he's going to tell the team he can switch up his tendencies and get a punch out or two out of it.

Considering Eades struggles of late it is the perfect situation for redemption.
