For the most part kids don't leave MS and this is likely one of them but I'm excited about the possibility of Moore being in our stable of backs. He's that edge setter that we don't have. Kid is on Brazil's heels in terms of speed. Would like to know some more about him from some guys that have seen him. I've heard some not so flattering things about his football skill.

Maybe you see something i don't i don't like his film, he cant cut he can only run strait forward. I really like Adam Taylor and would be worried about losing him. The only back i would take that chance with is Ryan green.

Another fast RB from Mississippi is, 2014 D,K. Buford 5'11" 190. He is Jeremy Liggins former teammate at Lafayette HS in Oxford.

He is #2 in the Liggins highlights on his Scout page. Turned some short passes into long TD's.

It is being reported by Scout that he ran a 4.28 forty at the Ole Miss Elite camp this week. The Oxford Eagle reporting it as a 4.22.

Scout also reports he is getting looks from LSU, along with State, Ole Miss & Bama.

LSU isn't the only SEC team that can make the "This is our state" claim. I pointed that fact out to the State & Ole Miss fans one day with this:

Different era in MS now. Everyone pulled out of the state by us was a good pull but all had some sort of caveat to their recruitment that helped us. Look at the past few years, CJ Johnson, Quay Evans,Channing Ward, Nickolas Brassell, Tobias Singleton and I could go on. Those were the last few national recruits from MS and at least 3 were guys LSU looked good for at one point and all ended up staying instate. Different era. MS is one of the toughest state in the country to pull a major talent from. Not impossible but very difficult. LA is considered one of the toughest states to recruit but as history tells us, it's not impossible. The few exceptions don't make the rule. The kids that stay do.
