Didn't this kid say something about wanting to stay close to home?

The only thing I can think of is that after the coaches worked him out the last few days they decided he was not a take after all. The kid was tweeting for the last few days about how he hwas about to commit and then he decides to go to West Virginia?? Oh well, but I too would like to see if they could work KJ Malone to Center.

According to some earlier in the week, Tezeno needed to work out for LSU to attain that "commitable" offer.

He may have not worked out well enough or the staff wasn't impressed enough.

Correct me if I am wrong, but weren't they recruiting him for special teams or some shite like that?

It was as center, BUT I'll bet when CLM counted the numbers, with a Full Back, a Kicker and still a second QB to take, he freaked out about having to turn down all those DL / CB-Safties, etc lining up to commit. Damn, what a high class problem to have to deal with.
At center we have PJ, backed-up by Porter, White, Mickey J, who all red-shirted, I believe.
We need more attrition & back-counting.

Can't we sign one extra this year from only signing 24 last year. Plus a few players have left on top of that. Gore, Vinson, Fordham, Gibson, are the only ones I can think of. One of those scholarships probably went to Porter

Pretty sure he left camp without an offer. He was just here at LSU, then commits to WVU right after, screams that he left without an offer. Coaches are probably happy about Karl Malone Jr and Josh Boutte on the interior, specifically KMJr at OC.

May very well mean Hoefield will get that offer after all.

I'd guess, as a "Preferred Walkon".
Remember, we always need attrition to be able to sign 25 each year...back-counting is sometimes an added help & works if the player enrolls early AND someone's left early (usually after the bowl game), leaving the team under the 85 limit.
